  1. Do you ship outside the US?
    Europe, Asia, Africa etc. No we don’t. We are working on an International shipping plan but gas powered vehicles such as Go Carts currently get classified as “Motor Vehicles” and right now the expense is usually more than the machine itself!

    CANADA (Canadian) customers however can order and receive Ken-Bar brand Go-Karts. Please Contact us for your shipping quote (sorry Free shipping is waived outside the US), include your desired Ken-Bar model(s) and include your complete commercial or residential address. Please see DA Form FAQ’s on shipping to another address “other” than the Cards billing address.

     

  2. Can I get my Go Cart shipped to my friend’s house?
    Only if you complete and send in a DA (Different Address) Form. If your credit card billing address and desired shipping address do not match, your order will require the accompaniment of this form. Your order is on “DA Form Hold” until this (correct and completed) form is received.

     

  3. My Billing and Shipping addresses don’t match?
    For fraudulent credit card protection we request then a DA Form. It’s a very easy process! Why the extra step? Easy, anyone can get a credit card number and exp date (anyone!) and have it shipped to their dummy address or abandoned warehouse etc. and pick the item up at that location without any audit trail whatsoever. Now since the item(s) MUST go to the card holders exact address (unless the DA form is correctly completed and faxed or mailed in). Yes, this small process almost eliminates credit card fraud usage making this a safer and much more secure order process for both you and us.

     

  4. What if I don’t want to use or submit a DA Form?
    Then when ordering, have the item(s) sent to your billing address. If these both match (billing & shipping addresses) your order is promptly filled and shipped.

     

  5. How do I place an order without a Credit Card?
    This is also popular for special order items that may be stocked but not listed on the site.

     

  6. Do you sell wholesale to other dealers?
    Yes, you will need to fill out a dealer application (available online) and fax it along with a copy of your business license (fax # is on application).

     

  7. Who will ship my Go Cart to me?
    We use several carriers depending on your region. This is relative to what trucking firm currently frequents your area and is not always the same for each shipment. So basically we will use whoever services your location the best and fastest!

     

  8. How much will I save if I pick up my order or go kart?
    Sorry, we are unable to offer any discounts off of the free shipping.

     

  9. I live in New York State. will I have to pay sales tax on shipping ?
    Only on orders under $100, otherwise shipping is free and no tax applies.

     

  10. Will the trucking company contact me prior to delivery?
    It is totally up to the trucking company but 99% of all residential deliveries are called by phone in advance.

     

  11. Why do large Karts require a commerical shipping address?
    Trucking companies require a loading dock/ heavy freight handling capabilities which cannot be found in residenial deliveries. These karts are marked as such in the items description and can only be delivered in this method.

     

  12. Can I have my order shipped to a freight terminal?
    Yes! Just provide a DA Form (located in Customer Service). You can then have any “Commercial address only” frieght delivered there. They will call you when & where you can pick up your item(s) when the frieght arrives at your local terminal.

     

  13. Where would my local shipping terminal be?
    Usually it will be in your city or the closest city with a population base.

     

  14. How long does it take to receive my order?
    Overall time to delivery will be 2-10 business days.

     

  15. Can I get rush delivery?
    Yes, we can provide expedited rush shipping of (whole units) and 2nd day air and overnite service for parts. Please contact us first for a quote on the additional charges.

     

  16. What if my shipment looks like it may be damaged?
    You should always do a visual inspection when the truck driver is present and note (write) any damage you see from the outside box/crate on the trucking manifest (the papers that you will sign when you take delivery).

     

  17. What if my item is damaged after I open it?
    Contact us immediately, we will promptly resolve the problem. In some instances we will have to ship you an entire new machine but most are resolved with (free shipped) replacement part(s) that are damaged. If major disassembly/assembly is required to correct the situation labor (service) will be provided.

     

  18. Who warranties the machines?
    The Manufacturers do, they provide all warranty work and parts at no charge for the duration of the warranty period.

     

  19. What is the length and coverage of the warranties?
    Each manufacturer has their own durations and coverages, they are displayed throughout the site and items description.

     

  20. Can I return my Go Kart after I’ve run it?
    No you can’t, the machine is now considered used and it is handled in a warranty state only.

     

  21. What’s your return policy?
    Since we deal with many different types of merchandise (some easily returnable some not) it is explained out in depth in the Customer Service link.

     

  22. Do you charge Sales Tax?
    Only to New York State shipping address deliveries. If this region applies to you, select your proper NYS County/City in your Account profile.

     

  23. Do you ever have a sale?
    Yes, We have a “Specials” box that lists one random sale item, for a full list click the carrot (arrow) listed in the boxes header.

     

  24. Do you offer quantity discounts?
    Yes, 5 units and up recieve a 10% discount, mix and match of models is OK, however all the units (mix and match or not)must be from the same manufacturer.

     

  25. Do you offer layaways?
    Yes, but not in hi-peak months (Sept to Dec). Please Contact us with your requirements and details.

     

  26. Can you ship my Go Cart before I make all my payments?
    No, all units must be paid in full before any actual shipping takes place.

     

  27. Do you take personal checks?
    Yes, see “Customer Service” link under the Information box.

     

  28. Do you take Eurodollars?
    No, sorry we only take $US (USD) from a US funded source.

     

  29. Do you accept Debit Cards?
    Yes, input them as a normal credit card in the secure checkout page. If it is a large dollar amount (usually over $1000) you will need to contact your Debit Card Co. (bank) and alert them of the purchase before attempting to cheackout using the Card. They then in turn will pre-authorize the large amount purchase. If this is not done ahead of time your Debit Card is likely to decline the sale.

     

  30. How can I get a Free Go Cart?
    Is that like Free Lunch? If so we don’t serve either. But when I find a manufacturer who is willing to give them to us for free then we will pass that on to you (but I wouldn’t hold your breath!).

     

  31. Can you sponsor my Go Cart or Go Cart club?
    Sorry we can’t. We get requests all the time and are flattered that you ask but I’m afraid we would make more enemies than friends doing sponsorships.

     

  32. Can you donate to our Go Kart event?
    We get alot of requests for this and we do make donations (not whole units however). We usually donate popular useful items mainly to be used for door prizes etc. We can’t guarantee we can do this for everybody but you have a good chance if you are at least a customer of our site (Contact us).

     

  33. Under what name is my Credit Card charged?
    Your statement will say “Millers True Value”

     

  34. How much assembly is required for a Manco Go Kart?
    Manco Go Karts come 95% assembled. Basic assembly of the overhead cage (bolt on) and some other minor assembly that requires only normal houshold tools. Adding proper engine oil & gasoline is also required before operation.

     

  35. How much assembly is required for a Pocket Bike?
    Freedom Pocket Bikes come 99% assembled. Fold out handle bars and some other very minor assembly that requires only normal houshold tools. Adding proper oil & gasoline fuel mixture is also required before operation.

     

  36. How can I find my nearest Manco dealer?
    Visit mancopowersports.com they have a dealer locator link on their site.

     

  37. How can I talk with you by phone?

  38. Can I place an order by phone?
    Not anymore, unfortunately Credit Card companies dislike verbal orders especially on large ticket items. They now require us to produce a hard copy of your submitted order. This means you can do it online, mail or fax the manual order to us. (see “Customer Service” link)

     

  39. Do you have any used Go Carts?
    No we only sell brand new machines. You can visit our Forum however, there is a Used Go Cart section.

     

  40. Do you take trade-ins?
    Sorry we can’t, but we offer a free listing for you in our Go Kart Forum! (it’s totally free with no commisions!).

     

  41. Where is your store located?
    Geneva, New York USA (see the “About us” link in Information box).

     

  42. Do you offer online Gift Certificates?
    We are in the process of implementing (creating the code) for a Gift Certificate and redemption service. We hope to have it in place on our site prior to the Xmas ’05 buying season.

     

  43. Do you offer Senior Citizens discounts?
    No, sorry we don’t. It would be awefully hard to prove who would even qualify since we never actually see you!

     

  44. How do I find parts for my Go Cart?
    Use your parts manual (breakdown sheets) that came with your model. If you don’t have the parts manual you can download one from our site. (Parts Dept > Parts Manuals > Manco or Dinli)

     

  45. Will Manco parts fit another brand Go Cart?
    Most likely not and we don’t suggest even trying. Find a site that supports your make/model.

     

  46. How can I make my Go Cart go faster?
    Popular question unfortunately we can’t answer it. All Karts are different and most have a speed restriction of some sort installed on them for a purpose, usually safety!

     

  47. Can I get larger tires on a model when ordering?
    We cannot do any altering or adding any options from the stock machines. They are safety tested as such and legally certified with the original equipment on them. Our site does sell some aftermarket equipment that is soley for professional use only. Any modifications done (by you) to your machine voids all warranties.

     

  48. Can I upgrade the motor so it goes faster?
    All machines from “Go Karts R us” are listed with the options and hp (horse power) available for each unit. If it doesn’t show it in the items description, then forget about it.

     

  49. Do I need to wear a helmet when riding a Cart?
    State & local laws vary, please check your own! We always recommend wearing a DOT approved helmet along with eye and face protection along with proper clothing.

     

  50. Can I ride a Go Cart on the road?
    No you can’t legally and we don’t even suggest thinking about it! Go Karts are not outfitted with the proper safety and lighting equipment to qualify for road or highway usage.

     

  51. I want to open a Go Kart track for rental usage?
    Sorry we don’t carry Concession Karts. Try a Google search for such but you may want to inquire about Insurance first. The liability Insurance usually is very expensive and thwarts most peoples efforts in doing this (nice idea) venture.

     

  52. Is my Go Cart covered by my Insurance?
    Some Home Owners Policies do include them automatically but you should check with your Insurance Company. Inquire about both liability and medical coverages, policy limitations, personal and private property coverage (include public if you intend on racing, kart meets, trail rides, club gatherings etc.)

     

  53. Can I order a Go Cart in another color?
    If other colors are available they are posted under the items description. Some colors are changed year to year only and others offer multiple color options.

     

  54. Do you price match other sites?
    No we do not. Our prices are as low as we can get them and are not factory seconds or gray goods (refurbs or rebuilds). We pride ourselves in having the lowest price along with best combined service and satisfaction. On matching prices.. hey anybody can put up a web page nowadays that says almost anything but believing it is another story.   58. How do I find a Parts Manual for my machine?
    In Catagories Box (click) >Parts Dept. >Parts Manuals >(your) Manufacturer. Then in the main body (screen) you will see a listing of the manuals available for that Manufacturer.

     

  59. What if I don’t see my model number in the Parts Manual listing?
    Ask us! Contact us or use the link on the Directory page. Submit complete info on your make & model. We’ll get it scanned and uploaded, then contact you by email with a link to it.

     

  60. I got the parts manual saved by clicking the File, Save as… Now what do I do?
    With the Adobe Acrobat browser (automatically loaded with a click on a pdf type file), you can simply view the Parts Manual by scrolling down, print if you wish of course or use the magnifying glass feature to “zoom in” on conjested views etc.
